Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are
forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth
little. (Luke 7:47)
The ability to forgive stems from the experience and
revelation of having been forgiven. One cannot conjure up forgiveness unless
the overflowing riches of forgiveness have been freely poured deep within, transcending
the soul and going deep into the spirit. Sometimes it’s not about having been
forgiven but knowing that forgiveness has been given at the cost of the life of the Son of God.
Forgiveness and the ability to forgive bring about
tremendous wealth of peace where no treasure in this world can purchase. Unforgiveness,
on the other hand has brutal consequences that robs anybody out of the joy of
living in Christ.
