The Choice of Believing

And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. (Matt 28:17)

The invitation is open to everyone to come and witness God’s glory (vs 16), but it is really up to us to believe. Believing is to discard everything we hold on to deeply, especially the religious ones and count them as dung (Phil 3:8) in order to come into the revelation of the truth. If we can’t let go, what we saying is that we will believe what we want to believe. We want to believe in a god of our own creation or imagination in order to control our entire belief system. Doubting is really to compare what He says against what we say to see if what He says matches ours.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matt 28:18)

We will come to the place of worship because we choose to believe, His words becomes Spirit and Life leading us into a life of complete obedience, by faith. We don’t have to seek nor ask for His Presence, when we do obey in that state of believing He will always be with you. It all begins and ends with believing with a renewed mind transformed from carnality to spirituality. This glorious transformation conforms us to the image of the Son of His love.
