Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls
of Jerusalem. (Psa 51:18)
With regard to prayer, Jesus says uses the phrase ‘when you
pray’ not ‘if you pray’. The Word is our daily bread and prayer is our breath.
Both are equally important in our Christian walk as with the physical life
needing both a staple diet and air.
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to
any people. (Pro 14:34)
An intercessor should desire a clean heart and steadfast spirit,
desire this first than desire God to work in our nation. We approach our Father;
Whose Name is Hallowed, with clean hands and a pure heart. An intercessor
shouldn’t neglect doing personal business with the Father. A fruitful
intercessor is one that that has a clear conscience before God and man. God is
looking for a man or woman who will stand in the gap for the safety of our
nation (Eze 22:30) and that person is one that would do business with Him first
before carrying out the Father’s business.
